As a person who has had her fair share of ups and downs, people mistaking my kindness for weakness, my good heart for a push over and my generosity as a giving fool.
I know what I’m talking about when it comes to keeping your head up, your heart full and the strength we all have but don’t know it, to keep oozing 🔥
This isn’t a blog talking about my problems as some of you may have hoped 😂 we all love a bit of gossip, but more so a blog on how to keep your head up when someone is getting you down or something is making you feel uneasy. A colleague at work, a boyfriend, an old friend, a family member? You need to remember always,
That this too shall pass. – the bible
A wise saying I never forgot no matter what I was facing.
If you know you have been the best person you can be and done all you can to do the right thing and somebody is still hurting you or making you feel small ?
LET THEM GO!
This you tube video I LOVE ❤️ was passed on from a friend and if you haven’t already seen it, I would highly recommend you do.
Every day I start my morning with my gratitude. 5 things I am grateful for, some mornings these things are the same, sometimes different, but it gives me a moment to realise how lucky I am and no matter what you are going through, there is nothing you cannot conquer, nobody can take you down, you are a force to be reckoned with, life is short don’t let somebody take away your good days, don’t waste time worrying, it’ll only lose the present day and help nothing for tomorrow.
I love the fresh air, the sea breeze, the sound of the waves or the noise the stones make when you walk on them. The outdoors, the beautiful smell of rain or suncream, the wind in my hair, the sun on my face, all of these things help me stay Zen! Release tension, stay smiling and help, not cloud my judgement of what someone else might think or say.
You are a good person, tell yourself that after all, you live with your opinion every second of every day so start telling your self nice things, positive things and smile through it all 😊At the end of every day, take time to breathe, time to reflect.
Switch off the phone, stop waiting for that call, that text, dm, email and live in the moment. The world can wait, your sanity is more important than your friend needing your opinion on what to wear, or a picture you are yet to post or your friends whatzap group gossip. Switch off and free your mind from the world of technology.
One thing I have always been guilty of is spreading my self thinly, give your time and especially your heart to those who give it back to you. You don’t need to be everyone’s friend, not everyone has to like you and the sooner you can accept that the happier your life will be.
Exercise!! It is so important to release those good hormones, at home workouts if you can’t make it to the gym, use the stairs, go for walks, take up a new class. Have a look at my YouTube video on The M factor, a lot of people have thanked me after watching as we all think we can just start a new lifestyle with out a plan.
I hope it helps you ♥️
We don’t have much time here on this world we call home, so avoid that argument, do what you love best, cut negative people from your life, make sure your job is feeding you purpose, that you can relax in your own home and that the people you give your time to are worthy of it. That is a gift you are giving to someone, your time, something you are never getting back. So respect that!
I know this is all easier said than done but anything you can do to make a change now will help towards living the future you dreamed of, don’t give up on you, you are the important one, a happy mammy is a happy daughter, a happy husband is a happy wife, people feed of your energy let’s send good vibes around. Everyone is facing their own battles, be kind stay true to your heart, and believe in yourself.
There are so many motivational videos on YouTube, that I take time to listen to, 1 a day, this is my favourite for today
Love you all
